The All England Club was forced to cancel it's 2020 tournament, but that is not stopping us from celebrating The Championships, Wimbledon, this year.
Wear your whites and come to play in this friendly Round Robin as this special edition of Wine-Down Wednesdays will include complimentary Pimm's Cups and Crisps!
When? July 1st, 6 - 9 PM
Where? Queensbury gazebo and tennis courts (3255 Kingshouse Commons, Alpharetta, GA 30022)
What? This round robin will be played across two courts, one for A-level players, and one for B-level players. The first 24 players to register reserve their spot.
Teams of six players from the same level will be formed on a random basis, and play against each other. Pairings will be formed on a random basis for Lines 1, 2, & 3. Points increase per line, so no team is ever out of it.
Each line will play a Fast-Four Format:
- First team to four games, win by two, wins the set
- If the set reaches 3-3, then a 7-point tiebreaker determines the winner of the set
- At deuce, receiver's choice for deciding game point
- If sets split, then a 10-point tiebreaker determines the winner of the match
